Willie Altus Sanders

Willie was born on October 28th, 1878 in Tarrant Co., TX. Willie's father was Lewis Cass Sanders and his mother was Catherine Eliza Sanders. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Franklin Sanders and Mary “Pauly” Messer; his maternal grandparents were William Carroll Sanders and Sarah Frances Austin. He had a brother and four sisters, named Claude, Lula, Gillie, Dossie and Naomi. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 68 on June 6th, 1947 in Miles, Runnels Co., TX.
