Mary, known as Katie, was born on May 14th, 1850 in AL.1   Katie's father was Daniel Liddell Weems and her mother was Rosanna Littlefield.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Weems and Mary Liddell. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Rustes, Wiliam, Daniel, Green, Georgeana and Deela.  She was the oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 71 on July 13th, 1921 in Arkansas.  She was buried in 1921 in Biggs Chapel Cemetery, Nathan, Arkansas.1 1
