William was born on April 25th, 1869 in Uvalde Co., TX.  William's father was William F. Friday and his mother was Eliza J. Sanders.  His maternal grandparents were Julius  Sanders and Lucinda (?). He had five brothers and two sisters, named John, Louis, Robert, Julius, Lonnie, Sophronia and Mary.  He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother named Noble.  He died at the age of 79 on June 11th, 1948 in Erin Springs, Madill, OK.
