Noble was born about 1862 in Uvalde, TX.  Noble's father was Noble Jefferson Griner and his mother was Eliza J. Sanders.  His maternal grandparents were Julius  Sanders and Lucinda (?). He had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William, John, Louis, Robert, Julius, Lonnie, Sophronia and Mary.  He died in Michigan.
