Charles Elbert Sanders

Charles was born on January 28th, 1914 in Nolan Co., TX. Charles' father was Charles Franklin Sanders and his mother was Lena Arjessie Hand. His paternal grandparents were Aaron R. Sanders and Mary Ann Holt. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Aaron, Melvin, Orville, Sonny, May, Dovie and Happy. He was the seventh oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 70 in August 1984 in Albuquerque, Bernalillo Co., NM.¹
