Melvin Curby Sanders

Melvin was born on March 9th, 1903 in Nolan Co., TX. Melvin's father was Charles Franklin Sanders and his mother was Lena Arjessie Hand. His paternal grandparents were Aaron R. Sanders and Mary Ann Holt. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Aaron, Orville, Charles, Sonny, May, Dovie and Happy. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 74 in February 1978 in Anton, Hockley, Texas.¹
