Jane was born on June 16th, 1856 in Ellis Co., TX.  Jane's father was William Carroll Sanders and her mother was Sarah Frances Austin.  Her paternal grandparents were Julius  Sanders and Penelope (Parthenia) Fields. She had three brothers and a sister, named Aaron, James, William and Catherine.  She was the second oldest of the five children.  She died in Nolan Co., TX.
