Jasper was born in 1820 in TN.  Jasper's father was Julius  Sanders and his mother was Penelope (Parthenia) Fields.  His paternal grandparents are Steven Sanders and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and a sister, named Daniel, David, William, William and Frances.  He was the third oldest of the six children. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James, John, Pleasant, Robert, Eliza and Ann.  He died at the age of 42 on November 2nd, 1862.
