James Carrol Sanders

James was born in 1858 in Arkansas. James' father was David Stephen Sanders and his mother was Harriett H. Stewart. His paternal grandparents were Julius Sanders and Penelope (Parthenia) Fields. He had six brothers and four sisters, named William, Lorenzo, Daniel, Hansford, David, Allen, Narcissa, Sarah, Martha and Martha. He was the eighth oldest of the eleven children. He had two half-sisters named Missouri and Hattie. He died at the age of 27 in 1885. He was buried in 1883 in Allen Cemetery, Howard Co., AR.
