Ethel was born on February 2nd, 1908.  Ethel's father was Hansford Newton Sanders and her mother was Arvie Zennia Alexander.  Her paternal grandparents were David Stephen Sanders and Harriett H. Stewart. She had a brother named John.  She was the younger of the two children. She had four half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William, Jacie, Jesse, Dude, Harriett, Mary, Leona, Nora and Dora.  She died at the age of 85 on March 19th, 1993 in Aubrey, Denton Co., TX.1
