Nora was born on March 7th, 1890.  Nora's father was Hansford Newton Sanders and her mother was Mary Catherine “Katie” Weems.  Her paternal grandparents were David Stephen Sanders and Harriett H. Stewart; her maternal grandparents were Daniel Liddell Weems and Rosanna Littlefield. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Jacie, Jesse, Dude, Harriett, Mary, Leona and Dora.  She was the eighth oldest of the nine children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named John and Ethel.  She died at the age of 85 in March 1975 in Beaumont, Jefferson Co., TX.1
