Charlie Hugh “Dude” Sanders

Charlie, known as Dude, was born on September 7th, 1884. Dude's father was Hansford Newton Sanders and his mother was Mary Catherine “Katie” Weems. His paternal grandparents were David Stephen Sanders and Harriett H. Stewart; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Liddell Weems and Rosanna Littlefield. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William, Jacie, Jesse, Harriett, Mary, Leona, Nora and Dora. He was the sixth oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named John and Ethel. He died at the age of 27 in February 1912. He was buried in 1912 in Glover, OK.
