Mary Eliza Sanders

Mary was born on May 14th, 1881. Mary's father was Hansford Newton Sanders and her mother was Mary Catherine “Katie” Weems. Her paternal grandparents were David Stephen Sanders and Harriett H. Stewart; her maternal grandparents were Daniel Liddell Weems and Rosanna Littlefield. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Jacie, Jesse, Dude, Harriett, Leona, Nora and Dora. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named John and Ethel. She died at the age of 18 on October 13th, 1899. She was buried in 1899 in Old New Hope Cemetery.
